Charity: Licketyspit

 The Social Bull team travelled to Glasgow to visit a drama/play charity named Lickeyspit to find out more about their impact on the community - thanks to the funding by The National Lottery. 

"We were so down. So lonely. Going to Licketyspit every Saturday gives us something to look forward to."

Sanjeev spoke to parents and children at the Glasgow community central hall about the benefits of drama-led play activities. The mixture of parents and children were incredibly grateful for Lickeyspit. The zoom based sessions during lockdown were remembered as a joyful escape during a challenging time.

“Lockdown was difficult for all of us, but thanks to Glasgow-based charity Licketyspit and the National Lottery, these isolated children and their parents have been given a lifeline, and gained confidence in the process.”

It’s worth watching just to see the smiles.
